I've discovered Jonathan Carrol's blog...
"Fear pounds on the door to our heart demanding to be let in.
Joy is
modest
and often comes into our lives
like a shy person entering a room;
it can take a while to even notice it’s there."
J Carrol.
you can read his blog here.
I fell in love with it this morning.
He wrote the following as his blog- heading....
"A friend asked yesterday if this blog is addressed
to anyone in particular?
I said yes–
it’s a love letter to someone I
haven’t met yet."

tuesday tales...
and some folk skip though life, with the occasional toe-bump-against- rock-instance..
and some trip and fall down and get up with some dried leaves in their hair
and some slide and skid and manage their footing and carry on
and some crawl... like they are so scared of the territory that it totally overwhelms them.
and some just dance
.. . . . . even though they are barefoot
and don't have a fancy dress
and don't bear a ring
they dance.... because they are grateful.

effervescence
(beautiful word... )
and the more I look at it, the more I fall in love with it...

she writes:
"The written word is a powerful one to start with ( when seeking personal insight)
When we’re thinking,
thoughts move so rapidly that we can talk ourselves out of insights
before they have a chance to land.
But when we write?
When we write,
the
truth can spill out
before we have the chance to stopper it up.
When diving for internal insights,
one of the best tools you can have
is a good question.

A good question
will unleash the truths you hoped
to,
but never thought you would, find.
Below are 26 questions to ask yourself
when you want a good, solid dose of pure insight.
______________________________________________________
- How do I feel, physically, when I think about this situation?
- What would {person you admire most} say to do here?
- If there’s a lesson I’m supposed to learn here, what is it? (Only ask this if it doesn’t make you want to throw up.)
- What lies am I telling myself about this?
- What don’t I want to see?
- What does this situation remind me of?
- What does my wisest self have to say on this subject?
- What needs to be said?
- What sucks about this? (Full permission to complain.)
- What advice would my five-year-old self give me right now?
- What advice would my ninety-year-old self give me right now?
- What beliefs am I letting go unquestioned?
- What am I bursting at the seams to say?
- What am I overlooking?
- If this issue was a physical object, what would it be? What would its texture be like? Its size? Its shape? Its energy?
- What’s the most outrageous way for this to unfold?
- If I were telling this situation back to myself as a story, how would that story go?
- If I decided to go off the beaten path here, what would that look like?
- Why?
- Why not?
- How could I break my internal rules right now?
- How could I break external rules right now?
- What am I yearning for?
- What object near me draws my attention? And what does it have to tell me about this issue?
- If I had a genie to grant me one wish, what would I wish for here?
- What am I thinking is wrong that’s actually totally right?

“To action alone you have a right, never to its fruits.
Let not the fruits of action be your motive.”

Person of the week: Kylie Bellard
This beautiful soul writes about being your own "white knight"
and has powerful personal testimony to the practice of living your life to the full.
Kylie Bellard
She shares her own wisdom & thoughts:
Be curious about the way people live, even and especially when it’s different from your way.
Don’t assume you know what people mean.
Assume that people like you until proven otherwise.
Stop and smell the lilacs. Make sure there aren’t any bees there when you do.
When someone asks you to take a day off work to go on vacation, do so.
Don’t discuss religion or politics unless you’re in the mood for it.
Try new foods.

we recoup
refresh
and recap
...
so that we may move forward
day by day
with integrity
and a sense of balance.

The thing I hate the most
is hurting people
it tears me apart.
and I don't know how to do this gracefully.
i just want to row away

Go Shelly Lewin!
This lady has the most accurate description of being in-love...
read more on her blog by clicking here.
Shelly writes:
"Every single nerve ending oscillates with glee.
Your flesh is alive;
you
can feel your heartbeat pulsating through your veins.
Your breath
shortens and you can hear nothing,
only the thoughts of your own desire
surging around your head.
Scent seduces you.
The rush lasts long after
your lover leaves.
You are smitten.
They own your heart."
♥
she is so wise....
she has simple theory...
and she encourages us all to look carefully at our happiness-barometer.
ps. I believe in all forms of love...
and I believe it is important
to recognize your love for your Creator.

Psalm 28:7
"The LORD is my strength and my shield;
"The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart
trusts in him,
and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy and
I will give
thanks to him in song."
