Ronel is person of the week

This award goes to Ronel Bester.
Born 28th Jan 1980.
still living. ( or use the "dash" as they do with great poets/ dignitaries )

Ronel earns this award by just being her.
So you might reasonably ask: why award her NOW?
easy:
because I had the pleasure of spending the last 3 days with her.
Not in a big group/ crowd.. .
we were just four in a little cottage by the sea 10km from the Southern most- tip of Africa.



a) straight-talking (you might recall that I had such a course "having the difficult conversation" with Strong Foundation) but Ronel has this built in as part of her DNA.

b) caring (not just the "aawwwh hope you feel better" ) but really getting deep into the pain/ cut and slamming on the healing balm of honest feedback and advice.

c) makes awesome flapjacks
(or as she so purely refers to them in our mother tongue: plaatkoekies)


d) doesn't settle (for anything less than the best) I'm talking about music, her home-adress, her choice of partners, her ingredients to her dinner and yes, of course her wine too.

e) sparkly smile

f) adventurous
