I just want to grab your attention with this small verse from her recent poem:
Unconditional love.
"... give me rather love full of groping
Unconditional love.

and precarious conditions
i want to get drunk
on an overflow of
strivingly changing tempestuous temperamentality
i want to get lost and found in such
finely cut imperfect conditions..."
I am burning up inside with jealousy. Drummed into our heads are the conformist way; work hard - you will reap the rewards; study hard - you will always have a job; don't play - it is a waste of time. All of it is a heap of crap.
ReplyDeleteAfter 50 years - what has it begotten me: High blood pressure, other medication, a home, debt and a wife of 18 years that never speaks my name.
Maybe I'm lucky - chewing on something whilst bemoaning one's lot whilst sheltering from the rain makes it easy. The last 10 years went past so fast that I feel let down. I missed such an important part of my life. Oh, I’m trying to slow down and get off the train but alas, it is moving too fast.
I envy you. I envy your courage and most of all I envy you having time left to enjoy life.
Keep on doing this. Keep on shaking the verkramptes. Maybe one day I can do one something great for my soul. It shall most definitely not be religion!
