person of the week: Lwandile Kgoisa

This young man is part of the Western Cape Tygerberg: Metro emergency service.
He is 32 and devotes his time to: saving people.
I can't think of a more satisfying job !

He assisted with the earlier accident involving a bakkie
and sedan on the corner of N1 -turnoff and Old Oak Road.

It was pouring with rain....
it bucketed down
it sloshed from heaven
I can't describe to you, how wet everything was....
I had to use the super-fast windscreen wipe mode, which I have never used.
On the radio: Putin was upset about floods, it seemed like the whole earth was being flooded...
mm....but we received a promise that it would not happened Again, so I stick with that.

anyway

so, the alarm goes off in the office,
as a passer-by rings the ambulance service
and Lwandile and co hops in the van,
switches on the siren and comes to the rescue.
amazing
diligent
wonderful.

they don't ask who's fault it was
they don't check if the car is insured:
they just help
they save.
Lwandile is person of the week: for selflessness and care.
